VeriFone RiTA Server Support

We recognize that high-quality developer support for our middleware product line is critical to the successful implementation of our credit card processing software. Our support is separated into two specific categories:

  • Implementation project management - support for integration of our middleware product(s) for merchants and developers
  • Ongoing support - merchant support for "live" merchants who have implemented our middleware product(s)

Annual Support and Upgrade Service (ASUS)---ongoing support---is available on an annual contract basis. This is normally quoted at the time of sale and renews annually.


Middleware Merchant Support

VeriFone is proud to be noted for our exceptional support. Our goal is to delight the customer. To achieve this goal, we’ve crafted an Advanced Product Support Group (APSG) comprised of individuals with expertise in credit card processing and the operating systems & databases supported by our scalable middleware solutions.

Middleware Merchant Support Hours

  • 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST Monday-Friday - During normal working hours, requests for callbacks and email responses are usually fulfilled within four hours.
  • Weeknights, Weekend, & Holiday
  • - For after-hours support of an urgent issue, leave a detailed description of your matter and indicate the level of urgency. Always include your direct return phone number or after-hours access method in your message. There is no time limit on the length of your message. A member of APSG will be paged immediately upon message completion. We strive for callbacks within 30 minutes. If you do not receive a call back within 30 minutes, phone 1-888-764-1764 and leave a message referring to the original message.

Middleware Developer Support

We recognize that open communication with developers gives them a greater understanding of our middleware products. Therefore, we've made our APSG staff readily available to answer your integration questions.

Our approach to application integration is simple: we view developer partners as customers. We handle the installation and integration as a project. We schedule pre-integration conference calls to identify all jeopardy issues and define solutions to those issues. We work with you hands-on as you integrate our middleware solutions.

With the purchase of the RiTA DevKit, you will receive free telephone and email support during normal business hours of operation.

For Developer partners working with live merchants, this support is governed as merchant support as agreed upon in the Annual Support and Upgrade Service (ASUS) Agreement, which entitles your merchant customer to twenty-four hours a day / seven days a week product support for urgent issues. The APSG staff may be contacted during the office hours listed below.
